My world may be quite different than yours.

My life is spent in the dojo,
Wherever that may be.

My average day is spent seeking the way,
This is lifelong practice.

My body is my weapon.
My mind is my battlefield.

My soul lives in the time before comforts.
My discipline is to never harm another.

My skills are the result of arduous practice
My practice is something which I desire.

My life is spent with purpose.
My purpose is to pass on what I have learned.

My pursuit of excellence is what motivates me.
My inspiration comes from my teachers.

My belt, is just a symbol of all my efforts.
My achievements are masked by blood and sweat.
